Inter School Tennikoit Championship at Indus World School
Indus World School had organized an Inter School Tennikoit Championship in the school on 10th October 2013 in the school premises. Around 712 students from 39 schools had participated in this district level competition. The school had prepared 6 grounds for the event. Mr. Nitin Upasani , Education Officer, Zilla Parishad and Urmila Morale, Dist. Sports Officer gave best wishes to all the participants and declared the meet open.
Mr.Jagannath Kale, President Tennikoit Association and Dr. Uday Dongare, Shiv Shatrapati Awardee was present at the time of program to encourage the students.
The students were overwhelmed with the warm welcome which was rendered by the school and the atmosphere was filled with vehemence. The spirit of sportsmanship that ruled the grounds and made the whole event quite amiable.
The Principal of school Mrs. Namita Parthasarthy and the Staff members had taken a lot of efforts to make the event a grand success. The event justified the ideology that the School believes in,’ To collaborate every stream of erudition into assimilation of full-fledged learning.’
Indus World School was privileged with the second position under 12 boys and consolation under 14 boys.
