Educational trip of students of IWS Aurangabad to Ahmednagar

Indus World School, Aurangabad Students  of V, VI, VII took full advantage of a golden opportunity to witness a tank show hosted by the Indian Army  based out of Ahmednagar.
When they reached Nagar, they were escorted by a Jawan to the venue where the tank show would be held.

To start with, the army personnel walked the children through the basics of cavalry. It was an awe-inspiring display of weaponry.

Just when we thought it couldn’t get better, the officers took the children to witness tanks practicing. After working through the basic tank maneuvers, the tanks started hitting their targets with cannon balls and then using machine guns as a demonstration of battle.  The sheer firepower and technology on display had everyone in goose-bumps. A once-in-a-lifetime experience, this opportunity greatly helped to induce in children a feeling of great patriotism and pride towards their country, and helped them realize the importance of discipline, teamwork and time management.
