Target IIT seminar evokes good response at Aurangabad




"Getting admission into IIT is no longer a difficult task due to increase in the number of IITs and seats", said Mr. R. Shiva Kuma Chairman Indus World School.

Mr. R. Shiva Kumar himself is an aluminus of IIT, Chennai. Addressing parents at Aurangabad on 4th February 2012, he said that IIT has become a bench mark and their graduates are in great demand in US.Both students and their parents are however  vexed about admission into IITs and have several queries. They are always confused about the objective of opting IIT, procedure of selection, exam syllabus, age when te student should start preperation and so on and so forth.

The government is planning to conduct a common enterance test for admission into engineering, merging IIT-JEE and AIEEE which will become more difficult and students will have to work harder to get through. The picture about the enterance exam structure will be clear in few days added Shiva Kumar.

Prof. Aaditya Lohana Director Indus World School, said that engineering stream was not focused upon in the state as many people are not aware of the opportunities in this field. Parents, teachers and students were present in large numbers for the seminar.
